Scope of Project
Ocean Modern is a coastal modern design and lifestyle platform that curates architecture, interior design, real estate, and furniture for people building elegant seaside homes. The site brings together editorial articles, video home tours, a professionals directory, and luxury coastal listings under one modern digital home. We partnered with the team to build the brand and website from the ground up, creating a publishing and directory experience that speaks directly to a design-conscious audience.

The Result
Ocean Modern launched with a real digital home. Not a lifestyle blog. Not a shop with a magazine attached. A single, editorial-first platform where coastal design, architecture, real estate, and curated objects all live under one roof, presented with the care the audience expects.
What we designed and built:
- A refined editorial brand with typography, palette, and photography direction that reads more like print than web.
- A rotating hero homepage that surfaces new editorial content while giving readers six clear paths into the platform.
- An editorial blog organized across Real Estate, Architecture, Interiors, Travel, Art, and Technology.
- A cinematic video library for coastal home tours from Malibu to the Hamptons and beyond.
- A luxury real estate section curating listings from Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, and other high-end coastal markets.
- A furniture catalog across eleven categories, each with its own browsable and shoppable presentation.
- A professionals directory covering Architects, Interior Designers, Realtors, and Contractors.
- A newsletter and community layer built to grow the Coastal Modern Community from day one.
- An advertising structure designed into the site to support the platform's business model as it scales.
- A WordPress build that lets the Ocean Modern team publish and manage all of it independently.
Ocean Modern didn't need another lifestyle site. It needed a real publication that could hold luxury coastal homes, a curated furniture collection, and a growing readership at the same time. That's what it launched with.
