Scope of Project
Gallaudet University is the world's only university designed specifically for deaf and hard of hearing students, chartered by Congress in 1864 and located in Washington, D.C. With a community of more than 1,400 students from 50 states and 100 nations, and over 23,000 alumni worldwide, Gallaudet came to Striped Horse for a full website redesign to better reflect the university's evolving brand identity and strengthen its digital presence.
Transformation
Before
The previous site used a blue and gold color scheme with a standard university layout. While functional, it lacked a strong visual identity and didn't communicate the university's unique mission, culture, and bilingual community with the clarity and confidence the brand deserved.
After
A fully redesigned website built around Gallaudet's new brand identity, with bold typography, a refined color system, and a clear message: "Changing the world with a bilingual way of being." The new site communicates the university's mission, community, and academic offering with confidence and visual consistency from the first scroll.

Gallaudet launched with a fully redesigned digital presence that matched the scale, mission, and uniqueness of the institution.
- Complete university website redesigned across hundreds of pages, delivered within a tight timeframe

- Virtual reality campus experience launched on a separate domain, giving prospective students worldwide an immersive 360 degree tour of the 99-acre campus
