Scope of Project
Got Light is a San Francisco Bay Area event design and production company delivering lighting, audio, video, drape, custom fabrication, illuminated decor, and more for weddings, corporate events, galas, concerts, and fundraisers. We partnered with the team on a full website redesign, a refined brand direction, CRO improvements, and a custom internal system built to support how the Got Light team actually works day to day.
Transformation
Before
The previous Got Light site used a minimal structure with a small top-level navigation (Services, Gallery, About, Catalogs, Contact Us) and full-width event photography running the length of the homepage. Each event category lived as its own scrolling section, with the site's information architecture focused on browsing photography rather than exploring the full range of services and collections behind them.
After
A fully redesigned site with a restructured information architecture that opens up the full scope of what Got Light offers. The navigation expands into deeper sub-menus across Services, Gallery, About, and Collections, the homepage introduces distinct sections for event types, services, and gallery, and a new Collections area gives dedicated space to illuminated decor, drape, staging, and lightscapes catalogs that were harder to surface before.

A redesigned website and a dedicated internal system that together give Got Light a stronger digital foundation on both sides of the business. The public site now reflects the full scope of what Got Light offers, and the internal system supports the way the team actually works.
Highlights of what we designed and built:
- Restructured information architecture that opens up the full Got Light catalog across services, event types, and collections.
- Expanded homepage with dedicated sections for event types, services, gallery, and about content.
- Dedicated Collections area covering illuminated decor, drape, staging, podiums, stages, masking, and lightscapes.
- Deeper service pages for lighting, audio, video, drape, custom fabrication, illuminated floors, illuminated decor, lasers, and staging.
- Refined brand direction that preserves the Got Light wordmark and voice while giving the visual system room to grow.
- CRO-focused contact and inquiry flows built to move visitors from browsing to booking.
- Custom internal system built to support the Got Light team's day-to-day operations behind the scenes.
Together, the redesigned website and the custom internal system give Got Light a foundation that can grow with the business, on both the public and internal sides.
