This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit https://www.stripedhorse.com (the "Site") or contact us about our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
We are a web design, branding, and digital marketing agency. We do not sell your personal information. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@stripedhorse.com.

- Why we collect it: to reply to your inquiry, prepare proposals, deliver our services, keep the Site secure, and understand how the Site is used.
- Who we share it with: only service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, analytics, spam protection, and email providers.
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@stripedhorse.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, email us, or call us, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- Your website URL, if you provide it

- Any other information you choose to include in your message
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type, device type, and operating system
- The pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click, and the website that referred you
- Your approximate location, such as your country or city, based on your IP address
This information does not tell us your name. We use it to keep the Site secure and to understand how it is used. It is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 5.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, such as health information, financial account numbers, or government ID numbers.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you
- Evaluate your project needs and prepare proposals and cost estimates
- Provide our services and manage our client relationships
- Send administrative information, such as project updates or changes to our policies
- Protect the Site from spam, fraud, and abuse
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights
If we send you marketing emails, we will only do so where permitted by law, and every email will include an unsubscribe link.
3. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
- Performance of a contract: to take steps you ask for before entering into a contract with us, such as preparing a proposal or cost estimate, and to deliver services to our clients.
- Legitimate interests: to respond to general inquiries and messages, keep the Site secure, prevent spam, and understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. We only rely on these interests where they are not outweighed by your rights.
- Consent: to set non-essential cookies, such as analytics cookies, where the law requires consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where we need to process information to comply with the law.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We only share it in the following situations:
Service providers. We use trusted companies to help us run the Site and our business. They may only use your information to provide services to us, and our contracts with them require them to protect it. These include:
- Website hosting and form management (Webflow)
- Website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
- Spam and security protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
- Email, communication, and business tools we use to reply to you and manage inquiries
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or a court order, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Striped Horse, our clients, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your permission.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. The Site uses:
- Essential cookies, which help the Site and contact form work, including spam protection from Google reCAPTCHA.
- Analytics cookies, such as those from Google Analytics, which help us understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are popular and how people find us.
Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, such as analytics cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the Site, such as the contact form, may not work properly without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA are subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. There is no common industry standard for Do Not Track browser signals, so the Site does not respond to them. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is currently nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of. If that changes, we will honor these signals as required by law.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers store and process information in the United States. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
For information transferred from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, based on the following criteria:
- Contact form inquiries that do not lead to a project: kept as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted.
- Client records, such as contracts, invoices, and project communications: kept for the length of our working relationship and afterward as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
- Analytics data: retained according to the data retention settings configured in Google Analytics and Google's applicable data retention practices.
When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it.
8. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections across the Site. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and organizations and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Receive your information in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw your consent where we rely on it
To make a request, email hello@stripedhorse.com or use our contact form. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom and believe we have not handled your information properly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
